The Zone Visit!

We were so happy to be invited to attend the Zone Visit Meeting in Bangkok.  Some in our congregation was invited, so Wheemon (Thai brother) had a van and loaded us all in together and off we went.  

Here are most who went, sadly Wheemon and his family are not in this picture, but they were with us as well.

We had a mishap on the way, and major flat tire!! Wheemon was driving and he handled it perfectly.

The brothers to the rescue. This is Carlos at the top, Wheemon in the tank top, and Jake's back.

Joe, Pha, Lessa, and Malina were also driving to Bangkok and they came back to make sure we were ok. 

Changing the tire.  Wheemon was so efficient I don't really think anyone else did anything,  ha ha! Although all wanted to help, he was just too fast.  We even had an emergency crew show up but he was almost done when they arrived.  We were only on the side of the road for about 15min.  Go Wheemon!

We got to see wonderful Lita at the visit.  She is so loving and an amazing witness to Jehovah.  She has been serving here in Thailand for something like 60 years.  Words cannot explain the love everyone has for her, and everyone seems to know her as well.  

This is Lita with a sister of many years.  She is one of Lita's spiritual children. 

This is Amy with Emia (also pronounced Amy).  She is Japanese and is trying to learn Thai while living in Bangkok.  She speaks very good english and was super sweet. 

Where ever we go with Lita, she likes to hold hands.  So Amy was able to capture Lita and I holding hands.  It's one of the things I love about her, she is very affectionate.  You literally see and feel her love. 

This sister and her husband are also from Japan.  They were serving in the Pattaya Thai congregation as well, but now are relocating to Bangkok.  They had just flown in from Japan that morning.  They were in Japan helping in the RBC with the relief work.

Wee, Stacy and me. 

This is a group of Thai people from Chaing Mai.  It is up north and they speak a different language.  The brother you see in the far back is serving there with his wife.  They have been here for 5 years and can know speak Thai, but they have a new assignment, learn another language! They have been with this group for 2 months. 

Our Bethelite friends! We met again this kind couple.  

A not so good photo, but we met also this nice sister, Sarah Anderson, who is from Minnesota.  She has been a need greater in Thailand for many years.  She originally came as a single sister with another single sister.  Then, she met her husband in the states, but now they are serving together in a remote village near Hua Heen.  We hope to go visit her sometime and go out in service.
