Hello All!

Time for the update of the Season! Memorial Season that is.

Here in Thailand, as everywhere in the world we were quite busy inviting everyone that we could to

remember the greatest act of Love in all of human history. It is such a testament to Jehovah's backing in this work how many times we come across persons who have strayed away from him and then are found this time of year. It also shows our unity when people visiting South East Asia receive the same invitation that those in their home countries are.

We had a lot of work to do in preparing the Kingdom hall for the occasion as well. Everyone came from the English group and Thai congregation alike.

We scrubbed chairs:

 We ate yummy food and ice cream:                       And we wore weird hats: 

We also scrubbed walls, gates, cleaned closets, picked leaves from the rocks, pruned plants,and sweat BUCKETS!

We were busy every day leading up to Wantee Haa Mehsayon. (the 5th of April) The day before we took all the remaining English, German, and other misc non-Thai languages down to a touristy area to distribute. There I met a man named Daniel from Alaska. He took the invitation and then later when passing by said he would see us tomorrow. Really? I asked. He said,"Yeah, Why not?"

And he did come! Along with Soo many other interested ones we were so encouraged and excited! All in all our Sign group had 42 Thai had 124 and the English group 90

I had also given our landlady an invitation and the day before she told Gina her daughter Nok and her friend Mind would be coming. So I met them beforehand and walked with them. I asked if they knew anything about why Jesus died for us and explained it in a simplified way asking how Mind would feel if as we were walking down the crazy street a scooter was about to hit her, and Nok stepped out in front of her to save her life thus sacrificing her own? Wouldn't that be an act of great love? They were able to follow along in the Thai Bible we had for them and they say they would like to come again.

Our favorite friends Jake and Christina also brought many friends. They seems to be the ones to draw all the wonderful interested friends from Africa! Christina and I think it is because they are Made for Africa and Jake just doesn't know it yet. But actually I have to say, they were made for Thailand as well!

We miss them a lot. *sniff*

So afterwards everyone took pictures as usual. We did a funny one with our Korean friends Eunjin and Gowoon. Eunjin usually has this permanent smile and loves to flash peace signs so we made him keep a serious expression which proved to be torturous for him haha :) 

And as for Daniel our friends Casey and Stacey took care of him getting him a Bible and Bible Teach book after he reportedly lamented about having nothing to read on his trip. He had questions afterwards and remarked that he needs to learn more and seemed quite interested. Tomorrow in fact Casey and I will meet him to follow up since we were unable to get in touch with him until now. He leaves to return to Alaska Friday.

Ps We just had our visit this afternoon with Daniel and it was Fantastic!! We talked for 2.5 hours and covered everything from 144,000 to neutrality, to the fact that not one JW is paid. He says he has always been impressed with the fact that no matter where he is in the world he sees us preaching and that he wishes he could be like us. We assured him he can! He just needs to learn first. :) He also agreed with the Biblical explanations we shared saying how much sense they made and that some of the answers we brought out from the Bible were just what he needed to hear. He wants to start studying when he gets to Alaska! :):):) Yay!
